Adoption Story
BACK in July, BAWCS Shelter undertook a trapping program of a mother and her 3 kittens.
The first kit trapped ended up being named Cashew.
BAWCS dedicated foster carer Liz, took Cashew under her wing and spent time in getting him used to humans to enable a bright future with adoption being the goal.
Well, yesterday the goal was achieved. And even better is that Cashew is now best buds with another BAWCS adopted kitten (now an adult) called Sprout!
Cashew has two brothers that were also trapped, and went straight into foster care. They took longer to come around, learning to trust humans but once their vet work is done, will be available for adoption.
Have a great life little Cashew and we look forward to updates on how you’re going.
