Adoption Story
We recently had a very special adoption at our shelter. PUMPKIN (one of our special needs cats) found his way into the heart of a very lovely lady, who has now welcomed him into her home!
Pumpkin originally arrived into our care 2 years ago from the Lost Dogs Home, with a badly damaged eye from an old injury. Combined with being FIV positive, we knew we had to help this special boy. Following 2 eye surgeries, he became much more settled and has been patiently waiting for his person to come along.
We have loved our Pumpy, quirks and all AND when we found someone who would do the same, we knew his wait was finally over. Pumpkin’s favourite spot to sit at our shelter has been on a wooden horse, in front of the sliding door where he has spent many moments watching the daily activities of the shelter. His new “mum” was more then happy to accommodate Pumpkin’s wooden horse as well, which will no doubt help him feel more comfortable in his new home. Enjoy your new life Pumpy xx
