LOOK who’s been adopted!
Ronnie has been ‘on trial’ and over the weekend his adoption was formalised.
Ronnie was previously adopted out by BAWCS Shelter in 2019 and returned in April this year due to his previous owners change of circumstances. Back story here.
BAWCS Shelter policy is to take back any of our dogs for any reason, in fact they have to come back to us if the owner/s can no longer provide care or want them.
This little dog has definitely landed on all four paws with his new ‘mum’ and is still very much a ‘work in progress’ as some of his behaviour at times is challenging. With support from BAWCS Shelter dog trainer Sahil from Elite Canines Training and another trainer now involved given Ronnie’s new location, we are confident this little man is on the right track.
It is not very often in Shelter work you get an application that is such a perfect fit for a dog that comes with ‘warts and all’, definitely one out of the box!
